Mass. swimmer, in trouble, pulled from Lake Sunapee
SUNAPEE -- New Hampshire Marine Patrol officers pulled a Massachusetts woman out of Lake Sunapee after she had trouble in the water Sunday.
The officers heard a cry for help as they were on patrol in Gardner Bay at the lake and saw a woman about 50 feet out in the water, according to police.
The woman, LiLi Li, 48 of Dedham, Mass., was in about 10 to 12 feet of water and struggling, according to police. The officers said she was using a non-Coast Guard approved flotation device, and was not a strong swimmer.
The officers threw her a life ring and got her to shore.
