New Hampshire GOP state committee hires executive director
Jon Simons is the new executive director of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee.
Chairman Wayne MacDonald announced the hiring at Monday’s Executive Committee meeting.
“Jon brings to our leadership team a well-rounded local and national political, policy and management background that will allow us to continue to build upon our recent successes and keep us on a path to victory in November,” MacDonald said.
A New Hampshire native whose family lives in Meredith, Simons takes over for Tory Mazzola.
He previously worked for DDC Advocacy in Washington, D.C., aiding in the development and execution of nationwide political advocacy campaigns for Fortune 100 companies.
A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Simons served on Congressman Jeb Bradley’s re-election campaign in 2006.
