Police report man shot in leg in Merrimack accident
MERRIMACK - A local man reportedly suffered an accidental gunshot wound to his leg this past weekend, according to police.
Authorities are investigating the shooting, which occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday at a residence on Bean Road, a police press release reported.
Police said they responded to the house for a report of an accidental gunshot wound, and upon their arrival they found an adult male who suffered an injury to his left leg.
The man, whom police did not identify, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries and was admitted overnight for observation.
The Merrimack Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating the incident.
