Roy Jenkerson and Bill Gagnon posted a net score eight-under-par 54 to win the Londonderry CC member-member tournament Monday. Second net honors went to Dusty Dustin and Oscar Dube with a 54.
They lost in a match of cards with Gagnon and Jenkerson. Placing third, also with a 54, were Ed Ciancio and Bob Smith.
Louise Billy wins ninth Derryfield CC women's golf title
Louise Billy won her ninth Women's Club Championship at Derryfield Country Club over the weekend, defeating Andrea Morrell in a one-hole playoff. Billy carded a two-day 71-76-147 while Morrell checked in at 74-73-147. Peg Tosi was the senior club champion (83-92-175).
Other gross winners were Karen McBarron (164), second flight; Claudette Weddleton (179), third flight; Jackie Sweezy (194), fourth flight; and Jeanette Billy (196), fifth flight.
Net winners were Joanna Teas and Peggy Tosi (139), second flight; Ingrid Willikens (136), Elise Thornton (140), Virginia Sinclair (140), third flight; Carla Pratte (145), fourth flight; Alma Gelinas (137) and Kathleen Shea (140), fifth flight.
