Mass. man takes Billy Kelley Memorial 10K race in Manchester
Benjamin Ndaya of Chelmsford, Mass., won the Bill Kelley Memorial 10K race in 32:26.94 in Manchester Sunday. Richard Smith of Enfield finished runner-up at 34:01.08 while Jason Porter of Bedford took the bronze at 34:44.66.
Bonnie Cruz of Springfield was the top female, finishing 22nd overall at 46:03.80. Placing second and third were Allison Findon of Enfield (25th overall) at 46:39.63 and Narri Dowd (26th) of Goffstown at 47:58.83.
Donald Mahanahan of Derry (16:37.79) won the men’s 5K race, followed by Brian Lavoie of Hopkinton (16:43.34) and Rich Levers of Concord (16:58.75).
Tammie Robie of Milford at 17:54.83 was the first woman to cross the finish line, taking fifth place overall in the race.
