Weare man charged with DWI after crash injures two children
WEARE — A local man was arrested Sunday night after he crashed his car, injuring himself and two children.
Police said Everett Macy, 32, of 84 Holly Hill Road, was driving drunk when he hit a sign about 7:45 p.m. Sunday and rolled his car on Abijah Bridge Road.
He and the children, ages 8 and 10, were all taken to Concord Hospital for treatment of injuries police describe as not life threatening. The 10-year-old was held overnight for further evaluation, according to a police press release.
Macy is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
What’s next: Macy is to appear Aug. 23 in 9th Circuit Court, Goffstown District Division, for arraignment.
