Republican leaders laud updated NH revenue figures
CONCORD — House Majority Leader Pete Silva and House Deputy Majority Leader Stephen Stepanek on Monday lauded updated revenue figures released late Friday by the state Department of Administrative Services, which show that the state added an additional $17.7 million in revenue for the fiscal year that ended on June 30.
According to the House Republican Office, the report showed that the revenue figures missed projections by $8.9 million, or 0.4 percent of total revenues, based on the Medicaid Enhancement Tax missing targets by $24.5 million.
Besides that outstanding issue, revenues exceeded projections by $15.6 million, the Republican office said.
