Convicted sex offender arrested in Hooksett
HOOKSETT — A convicted sex offender was arrested Wednesday by Hooksett police on charges he sexually assaulted a child.
Police said Joel Dutton, 48, of 24 Dundee Ave., knew the child, who was under the age of 13. He was charged with simple assault and two counts each of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Dutton was convicted in 1999 of aggravated felonious sexual assault and sexual assault, according to the state’s registry of criminal offenders.
