Utility pole severed in Hudson crash
HUDSON - A local man lost control of his car Thursday night and crashed into a utility pole, breaking it off at its base, police said.
Adam Shrey, 31, was not injured when his 2001 Volvo wagon hit the pole just before 7 p.m. at 83 Highland St.
The street was closed for about an hour, and one lane was shut down for several hours as PSNH and Fairpoint made repairs, according to a police press release.
