Blessing of the Animals to take place this fall
MANCHESTER — Those looking to have their animals blessed should mark their calendars: First Congregational Church of Manchester has announced that it will hold its Blessing of the Animals on the lawn of the church on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 6:30 p.m.
The community is invited to bring their leashed, caged or otherwise restrained pets to the church for a time to honor the special relationship between people and animals.
Those who don’t have a pet or are unable to bring one can bring a stuffed animal or a photograph of their past or current pets.
The church is located at 508 Union St. For more information on the church, visit fccmanchesternh.org.
