Claremont home damaged by fire
CLAREMONT — Fire damaged part of a house Wednesday afternoon.
The single-alarm blaze was reported a 3 Brookside Ave. at 1:25 p.m. Fire crews had it under control at 2:10 p.m.
Fire mostly damaged the front porch ceiling, attic space and master bedroom. The second floor sustained heat and smoke damage; the first floor was damaged by water.
The fire is under investigation. There were no reports of injuries.
