Old prescriptions to be collected in Londonderry
Local residents are encouraged to bring their old, unused prescriptions to the Londonderry police station for safe disposal later this month.
In keeping with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) scheduled National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, the police station, located at 268B Mammoth Road in Londonderry, will be open on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Police officials said the event is a great opportunity for locals who may have missed out on a similar event held earlier this summer.
For more information, contact the Londonderry police at 432-1118.
