Fire officials: Manchester shed fire is suspicious
MANCHESTER - A shed fire on Pine Lane early Thursday morning, the second shed blaze in the immediate area in three days, is suspicious and under investigation by both fire and police officials.
The 35 Pine Lane fire was reported at 1:04 a.m. and the shed was completely in flames when fire crews arrived. Flames spread to a nearby car and house, causing an estimated $20,000 to $30,000 in damage.
On Monday, a fire damaged a shed at 13 Hazel Lane, directly across the street from the Pine Lane shed, according to fire officials who did not say in a press release if that blaze was suspicious.
No one was injured in Thursday's fire.
The building is owned by Michael Cannella.
