NASHUA — Six people were injured and transported to area hospitals Sunday night after two sport-utility vehicles collided.

Nashua fire officials say the accident happened at the intersection of Amherst Street and the Henry Burke Highway, in front of the 99 restaurant, at 6:45 p.m.

All six passengers in the two vehicles suffered injuries, ranging from neck and back pain to a possible heart attack, though none were considered life-threatening.

Four passengers were transported to Southern New Hampshire University Medical Center, while two were taken to St. Joseph Hospital.
