Stacey Bruzzese has been hired as executive director by the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce.
Bruzzese, who officially joined the chamber on Sept. 1, has more than 15 years of marketing experience and more than five years' experience working for local chambers of commerce, the group said.
There are 2,000 businesses in the chamber's region, which employs about 24,000 people, according to a study released by the N.H. Employment Security, Economic and Labor Market information Bureau.
Always On Call Answering Service of Concord has been honored with the ATSI 2012 Award of Excellence for the fifth consecutive year. The award is presented annually by the Association of TeleServices International, the industry's trade association for providers of telecommunications and call center services in North America and the UK. The company also announced its participation in the 2012 Tri-City Expo on Sept. 20, 3 to 7 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel Expo Center in Manchester.
Aaron T. Brown of Lyndeborough was the 2012 Sculpture Garden Best in Show award winner for his large scale sculpture, “Color,” at the 79th Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair Preview Party on Aug. 3.
The 8-by-14-foot work was made from corten steel and powder coated.
A total of $10,923 in cash and gift certificates were presented to the award winners.
Aaron Yust has been named director of mall marketing and business development at Fox Run Mall by Simon Property Group Inc.
Yust will be responsible for all media, business development, events and marketing efforts, including digital marketing and social media for the shopping center. Yust has been with Simon since 2007.
Certified public accounting firm Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, with five offices in New Hampshire, has hired Christine M. DeAngelis, CPA and Thomas R. Vanderhoof.
DeAngelis will serve as a senior accountant. Vanderhoof joins the firm as a staff accountant
Thomas Goodwin, a certified financial planner, has joined Financial Focus, a fee-only financial planning firm in Wolfeboro.
He previously worked as vice president and chief compliance officer at Integrity Financial Planners in Brookings, Ore.
Attorney Thomas Quarles Jr. of Devine, Millimet & Branch in Manchester has been named chairman of the Public Protection Fund Committee by the New Hampshire Bar Association. Quarles has been a member of the committee for 12 years.
The Public Protection Fund, administered by the association and funded by contributions from its members, provides reimbursement to victims who have lost money or property because of theft or misappropriation by a New Hampshire attorney during the course of a client-attorney relationship.
