GILMANTON — Three residents have been arrested and charged with burglary and firearm theft charges in connection with 18 burglaries in six Lakes Region towns during the past several months.

Town police teamed with Belmont police detectives and the Belknap County SWAT team at just after 8 a.m. Wednesday to raid a residence at 31 Allens Mill Road, according to Police Chief Joseph Collins.

During that search, 17 stolen firearms, jewelry and tools were recovered, Collins said.

The three suspects were arrested at their home. Jamie Peterson, 29, was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of receiving stolen firearms.

Jacqualyn Oliver, 25, was charged with one count of being a felon in possession of firearms and one count of receiving stolen firearms.

Daniel Roberts, 21, faces four counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, one count of receiving stolen firearms, and one count of removing serial numbers from firearms.

The three are being held at the Belknap County Jail pending bail hearings.

Collins said information obtained from the suspects implicated them in 18 burglaries in Gilmanton, Belmont, Laconia, Gilford, Sanbornton and Franklin.

Aiding Gilmanton police in the investigation was the Belmont Police Department, the Laconia Police Department, the Belknap County Sheriff’s Department, the Belknap County Special Operations Group and Gilmanton Fire Rescue.
