Nashua police: Thrown knife hit child in dispute
NASHUA — Police have added two counts of reckless conduct for a man already charged with domestic violence assault over the weekend.
Christopher Pelletier, 32, was arrested after officers responded to a domestic violence call at a home on Orange Street on Sunday night. He was accused of choked a woman he knew and police placed him in custody at the scene for domestic violence.
Detectives continued investigating the incident and later learned that Pelletier allegedly threw a knife at the woman, missing her but hitting a child after it bounced off the wall. The child, who is under age 13, was not injured, police said.
Police added two counts of reckless conduct, a Class B felony, to the second degree domestic violence charge Pelletier already faced.
