Hanover fire kills chickens
HANOVER – Firefighters responded to a small brush fire involving two sheds on Grafton Turnpike Wednesday morning.
The fire was under control about 30 minutes after firefighters arrived on scene just before 9:30 a.m.
Two 15- by-15-foot sheds were fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived.
The homeowner had chickens in one of the sheds, which were all killed in the fire.
Both outbuildings were a total loss.
