3 men charged in Benson's animal cage vandalism
HUDSON — Three men have been charged in connection with vandalism to the gorilla cage at the former Benson's Wild Animal Farm property.
Hudson police say the cage was spray-painted with graffiti on the floor, walls, ceilings and posts sometime in June. Police in a press release said the damage was estimated at around a thousand dollars.
After a three-month investigation, Hudson detectives and members of the crime scene team arrested Cameron Medbery, 19, of Wilmington, Mass., and Joshua Burnette, 21, of Nashua, and charged them with felony criminal mischief (vandalism).
Police are still seeking the third man and have an active warrant for Sean Dandley, 19, of Nashua, for felony criminal mischief (vandalism).
Both Medbery and Burnette were arrested by the Hudson police and released on personal recognizance bail. Both are to appear in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division, Sept. 20 for arraignment.
