NHIAA Football Roundup: West's Ziemna leads Knights past Timberlane

NHIAA Football: Central rides punt return to edge North
Trailing by five with three minutes left, Manchester West quarterback Zack Ziemba rallied the Blue Knights for an 80 yard drive and a 43-40 victory at West Memorial Field Friday night during Division II NHIAA football action.
Ziemba capped the drive with a one-yard plunge and then fought his way into the end zone for the two-point conversion with 36 seconds left for West (2-2).
Josh David had a big game for Timberlane of Plaistow (1-3) with 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Division I
Man. Memorial 33, Londonderry 25: At Londonderry, running back Jared Ombati accounted for nearly all of the Crusaders’ points, rushing for five touchdowns on 293 yards and kicking all of the extra points but one. He was strong on defense as well, along with Pierre Noel and Chris Burke.
Sean Thompson had an interception, while Sam Gilot and Umear Sheikh recovered fumbles for Memorial (2-2). Londonderry (2-2) got its touchdowns from Michael Ryan, Jonathan Young and Dennis Bishop. Dylan Cole (24 yards) and Thomas Beedham (40 yards) kicked field goals for the Lancers.
Division III
Alvirne 36, Merrimack Valley 14: At Penacook, Jack Mahoney ran for 104 yards and two touchdowns and Lucas Notini added 103 yards and another touchdown for the Broncos.
Quarterback Josh Cohen had a passing and rushing touchdown for Alvirne (1-3) and Andew Stevens had the touchdown reception. MV is 0-4.
Division IV
Trinity 56, Laconia 6: At Laconia, five different Pioneers scored touchdowns, highlighted by three from Brian Carey and two from Romeo Masuku. Austin Chambers, Sai kou Bah and Chase Hughes each scored once in a game that was 50-0 at halftime. Masuku added an interception while Ross Pallas recovered a fumble for Manchester’s Trinity (3-1). Laconia is 1-4.
John Stark 28, Kingswood 0: At Wolfeboro, Carson Dunn scored three times on the ground and once through the air on a 30-yard pass from Ian Franco. Kellen Brien led the John Stark (1-3) defense with 7 tackles while Abe DeMaio highlighted the Kingswood (0-4) defense with 20 tackles.
Windham 51, St. Thomas 16: At Windham, Joe Karsonovich had touchdown passes to Ryan Geppert and Ryan Monette, and Hayden Middleton had a field goal to account for the Saints (3-1) scoring. Windham is 4-0.
Division V
Stevens 20, Bow 7: At Claremont, Billy Brooks scored all three Stevens (3-0) touchdowns in this defensive battle. Bow’s Derek Polish hit Travis Reynolds with a touchdown pass in the final minute of play. Bow is 0-4.
Division VI
Campbell 49, Bishop Brady 7: At Concord, Jesiah Wade was unstoppable, taking the ball 15 times for 189 yards and five rushing touchdowns, while adding another on a 43-yard punt return for a score. Campbell of Litchfield (4-0) added another touchdown on a 53-yard pass from Christian McKenna to Max Gouveia. The game was 28-7 at halftime.
Vinni Bucci and Connor Berry had interceptions for the Cougars, while Trevor Duquette blocked a punt and was 7-for-7 on PATs. Concord’s Brady (2-2) scored on a goal line rushing play.
Newfound 34, Raymond 14: At Raymond, Tyler Miviki had 232 rushing yards and three touchdowns and R.J. Silva and Jared Dearborn each had touchdowns for Newfound (4-0). Raymond is 0-4.
