Two men sought for torched tow truck on Beech Street in Manchester
MANCHESTER — Fire and police officials are searching for two men who may have set a fire that damaged a tow truck on Beech Street Saturday morning, according to a city Fire Department press release.
The fire was set in a dumpster near a building at 220 South Beech St. about 10:30 a.m. Saturday and spread to a nearby tow truck, causing about $3,000 in damage, the release said.
Two men were seen looking into a nearby impound lot and auto body shop shortly before the fire and left the area in a red or maroon car, the release said. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call the Fire Department’s arson tip line at 644-3473.
