Mass. man faces drug charges
CONCORD (MCT) — A West Newbury man is facing 13 counts of passing forged prescription in New Hampshire, after his arrest earlier last week. James Whitmyer, 45, of 15 Donovan Drive, West Newbury, was arrested after a month-long investigation involving state and local law enforcement agencies on both side of the state line.
According to Sgt. Robert LeFoley of the State Police Narcotics and Investigation Unit, Whitmyer was arrested without incident at the Osco Pharmacy in Stratham, allegedly trying to pass a fraudulent prescription.
He was transported to the Stratham police station where he was booked. He was later released on personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear for his arraignments at five separate circuit courts in Rockingham County.
