Pleat fires 77 at USGA Seniors
Nashua Country Club golfer Phil Pleat fired a 6-over-77 and is tied for 98th after the first day of stroke-play qualifying at the 58th USGA Senior Amateur Championship on the par-71, 6,838-yard Mountain Ridge Country Club course in West Caldwell, N.J on Saturday.
Pleat trails Stanley Kinsey of California, who leads the board at 5-under-66, and will have to jump into the top-64 in order to advance after today.
