A year later, an arrest in case where victim blinded in one eye
NASHUA - A local man is accused of assaulting another man a year ago, breaking a bone in his face and causing him to lose vision in one eye.
Eric Suarez, 24, of 11 Warren St., was taken into custody early Friday morning after detectives obtained an arrest warrant following a lengthy investigation.
The incident happened Sept. 30, 2011 about 11:30 p.m. at Whitney and Cross streets.
Police said Suarez got into an argument with another man and hit him in the face, breaking a bone and causing serious damage to his eye.
What's next:Suarez was released on $5,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment Oct. 15 in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District.
