Marijuana found along the Connecticut River in Piermont

PIERMONT — Police recovered 21 fully grown marijuana plants growing along the Connecticut River near the Haverhill town line.

The plants, hidden from the river&#';s edge by tall trees and bushes, were discovered Tuesday. According to a news release, the plants showed signs of being tended to and continually harvested.

Police have no suspects in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 272-9351.
