Police search for hit and run driver in Concord
CONCORD — Police are searching for the driver of a hit-and-run accident on West Street Thursday evening, Lt. John Thomas said.
Thomas said the man was standing next to his car, which was parked on West Street, about 7:30 p.m. Thursday when a pickup truck hit him and drove away. The man, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment, Thomas said.
The truck is described as a late 1980s model Chevrolet with a homemade “ladder-type” rack attached to the bed. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100.
