Columbus Day: What's Open, What's Closed
Most federal, state and local offices will be closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day.
All post offices in the state will be closed, as will most banks, though some bank branches are open on the holiday.
Garbage will not be collected in Manchester or Nashua. Each community will collect refuse on Tuesday for those who normally have trash picked up on Monday.
Most retail businesses, including the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester, will be open.
