Coast Guard: Search is for a missing body; linked to missing UNH student
Investigators involved in the search for a missing University of New Hampshire student are part of a swarm of law enforcement officers on Portsmouth's Peirce Island.
As midnight approached, Petty Officer John Matthews of the U.S. Coast Guard station in Portsmouth said the Coast Guard was involved in the search for a body near the island.
A police source confirmed the search was linked to the disappearance of 19-year-old Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott.
