MANCHESTER — A Derry man was beaten and robbed outside a West Side apartment building early Friday morning, police said.

The robbery happened about 1:30 a.m. at 65 Village Circle Way. David Goldberg, 27, was heading into the apartment building to visit some friends when he was attacked and beaten by two white men who were coming out. according to Lt. Maureen Tessier. Arriving officers found Goldberg bleeding from several injuries to his face, with his wallet, its contents and his keys strewn on the ground in front of him. Goldberg told investigators the men beat and robbed him, and then fled with the cash from his wallet.
