Police: Nashua woman stole lottery tickets, twice

NASHUA — A city woman is accused of stealing lottery tickets twice from the same convenience store and committing two burglaries in the city’s South End.

Shana Manzi, 25, of 9 Sapling Circle, No. 5, was arrested Monday night on a warrant charging her with two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, both class A misdemeanors.

According to a news release, Manzi stole the lottery tickets from a South End variety store on Aug. 13 and again on Aug. 14. The theft was reported on Aug. 15 and Manzi was identified by police as the thief.

She also became a suspect in two residential burglaries that happened in early October, again in the South End section of the city. When arrested, she also was charged with two counts of burglary, each a class B felony.

What’s next: Manzi is free on $10,000 personal recognizance bail, pending arraignment in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
