Hinsdale man accused of raping woman at Keene hotel
KEENE - A Hinsdale man is being held on $10,000 bail, accused of raping a woman at a local hotel earlier this month.
Thomas Ellwood, 29, of 80 High St. was arrested after a week-long investigation into a report that he sexually assaulted a woman during the week of Oct. 8 at a city hotel.
He was arraigned Friday morning in 8th Circuit Court, Keene District, on a felony charge of aggravated felonious sexual assault. He was unable to post bail and remains in custody.
The case continues to be investigated by the department's Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Anyone with information concerning it is asked to call Detective Jen Ramey at 603-367-9820.
