Irving wins Capistran Memorial Road Race
Dave Irving and Paige Capistran headed the men’s and women’s fields to win the Luke Capistran Memorial 5K Road Race in Manchester Saturday.
Irving, 38, of New Hampton, posted the day’s quickest time of 17:19, while Capistran, 14, outran all women in 20:57. Manchester runners Zachary Reynolds and Adam Vargas ran less than 10 seconds behind Irving, while Denise Spenard of Manchester and Debbie Dollins of Concord were just 15 and 30 seconds slower than Capistran.
