Do you know someone under the age of 40 who is helping to make New Hampshire a better place to live? Why not nominate that person for honors as a member of the 2013 class of 40 Under Forty?

The New Hampshire Union Leader would like to know of young people who are helping to make New Hampshire a better place to live. The newspaper and the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire are seeking the best and brightest for the annual list of 40 Under Forty recipients.

Readers are urged to nominate those they feel are deserving of the honor. The only criteria is that the person has lived in New Hampshire at least three years, has not received the honor in past years, and has not turned 40 before February 2013. People may nominate themselves.

A special edition of Monday's Business announcing the recipients will be published early next year, and a reception to honor all 40, sponsored by Citizens Bank, will be held in the spring.

Many young leaders in medicine, government, religion, education, nonprofit, law, business, law enforcement and other fields have been honored in past years.

Nominations for the honor should be received by Nov. 15, and they may be sent to 40 Under Forty, New Hampshire Union Leader, P.O. Box 9555, Manchester, NH 03108. They may also be submitted via an online form available at www.UnionLeader.com/forty or by fax at 314-0130.
