Hearing set for attorney facing possession of child sex abuse pictures charges
MANCHESTER — An attorney could enter no plea Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division to seven felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, so a probable cause hearing was set for Nov. 16.
Attorney Lisa Biron, 43, of 42 Pratt Court, waived reading of the charges which allege she had child sexual abuse images and videos on her computer.
Biron, who was arrested Oct. 9, is free on $35,000 surety bail. Police prosecutor Lt. Ron Mello requested two changes to existing bail conditions, which include no contact with the 14-year-old female in the images and include a bar on unsupervised contact with anyone under age 18,
Judge William Lyons approved adding conditions that require Biron to surrender her passport and that of her daughter and to have no computer access.
