Several shelters have closed
Keene will close its emergency shelter at 6 p.m. Tuesday, the Red Cross said.
The shelter had no occupants, according to a census of shelters released mid-afternoon by state emergency management officials. The Nashua shelter at Nashua High School South listed 11 occupants, and a shelter at Plymouth State University had four.
Other shelters had no residents, and many that opened Monday had closed or gone on standby status.
