Downtown Milford still dark
MILFORD - Flood-prone parts of Milford avoided problems with Hurricane Sandy, but businesses and residents in some of the busiest parts of town are still without power.
"[A] major portion of the downtown area is still without power as well as various other areas," said town administrator Guy Scaife on Tuesday afternoon.
And portions of Mason Road and Mile Slip Road are closed due to power lines and trees being down, Scaife said.
