Over 80 percent of Hancock still out of power
HANCOCK – Eighty-four percent, or 863 of the 1026 Public Service of New Hampshire customers in town, are still without power Tuesday afternoon.
Only one PSNH truck was working in the town Tuesday morning, but by early afternoon DPW director Kurt Grassett reported an additional truck has arrived and power is expected to be returned to the center of town within a few hours.
Because the town's website and email server are down, emails are not getting through, he said. Residents are asked to call the town offices at 525-4441 if they need to reach town staff.
