NHIAA girls' soccer tourney on Wednesday shuffled
A Northeast-10 Conference men's and women's soccer tournament doubleheader at Southern New Hampshire University has caused some shuffling of the NHIAA girls' soccer schedule.
With SNHU's women's team hosting New Haven at 4 p.m. and the men hosting Southern Connecticut at 7, the NHIAA girls' Division I semifinals have been shifted from SNHU's Larkin Field to other sites — the Exeter vs. Manchester Central game to Stellos Stadium in Nashua, the Londonderry vs. Bedford game to Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter.
Both games are set for 7 p.m., after the conclusion of semifinals doubleheaders in other divisions.
Moving the Division I semifinals coincided with time changes in the Division II semis, taking place in Nashua, and the Division III semis, taking place in Exeter. At Stellos, Souhegan of Amherst will face Goffstown at 3 p.m., with Milford and Oyster River of Durham following at 5. At Ball Stadium, Hopkinton will take on Campbell at 3 p.m., with Bow and Raymond following at 5.
The Division IV semifinals, originally scheduled for Merrimack Valley High in Penacook, will instead be played at Hanover High, with Woodsville facing Littleton at 5 p.m. and Sunapee taking on Newmarket at 7.
In a weather-related change, the NHIAA postponed the Division II girls' volleyball semifinals from Tuesday to Thursday night, with the site, Pinkerton Academy in Derry, remaining the same.
