HAVERHILL - A Grafton County Superior Court grand jury indicted a 43-year-old Grafton man on three charges in connection with a motor vehicle crash in May in that town that left a 2-year-old with a fractured skull.

William H. Walker IV, of 8 Parker Road, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with serious bodily injury resulting, first-degree assault involving a victim under 13 years old, and carrying pistols and revolvers without a license, all on May 6.

Walker was attempting to drive on Razor Hill Road in Grafton on that date with a blood-alcohol level greater than .08 percent when the vehicle crashed into a tree, according to the indictments, in which the child was identified by the initials W.W.

Walker was also carrying a loaded black, HK .357 Sig in the vehicle without a license, according to a third indictment.

First-degree assault is a Class A felony, aggravated driving while intoxicated is a Class B felony and the gun charge against Walker is a Class A misdemeanor.

In other indictments the grand jury handed up during its Oct. 19 session in the North Haverhill court: James J. Dorris, 37, of 68 Cider Mill Road in Canaan, was charged with indecent exposure and lewdness and violation of privacy on May 13 in Canaan. Dorris is accused of "looking in the window of a residence" and masturbating while he watched a 15-year-old girl, who was showering.

The indecent exposure and lewdness charge is a Class A misdemeanor. The violation of privacy charge is a misdemeanor.

Edward Wardwell, 48, of 17 Crystal Lake Road in Enfield is charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon on Aug. 24 in Enfield. According to the indictments, Wardwell "waved a .223 Remington rifle around" in the presence of Peyton Wardwell and Wendy Wardwell while threatening to kill himself or others. Also, "with a purpose to terrorize her," threatened to kill Wendy Wardwell with the firearm he was holding. Both charges are Class B felonies.

Nathan T. Lynch, 30, of 59 Shedd Street in Enfield is charged with escape on Oct. 9 in Lebanon. Lynch was being held on $3,000 cash bail at Lebanon District Court and awaiting transportation to the Grafton County House of Corrections in North Haverhill when he escaped by "running out of the detention area past a sheriff's deputy and out of the courthouse," according to the indictment. Escape is a Class B felony.

Jessica Olena, 34, of 19 Morin Street in Holderness is charged with perjury for making a false material statement on Dec. 2, 2011 in Haverhill. While under oath before a Grafton County grand jury, Olena testified about "facts that contradicted her prior statements" to a police officer. Perjury is a Class B felony.
