Caroline Kennedy to campaign for Obama in NH this weekend
ROCHESTER - The daughter of former President John F. Kennedy hopes to encourage fellow women to help reelect Barak Obama.
Caroline Kennedy is scheduled to speak at the Rochester Obama For America - N.H. Office, at 63 Hanson St., Friday at 1:15 p.m. as part of the Granite State Women Decide 2012 Tour.
Kennedy plans to discuss how Obama is a better choice for the country as he supports fair pay, abortion rights and health care reform, as opposed to Republican Mitt Romney, "who will turn back the clock for women," according to a release by the Obama campaign.?"This election could come down to just a few votes in a single state, where even one conversation could make the difference between moving forward and falling backward - and women will decide who our next President will be," according to the release.
Kennedy is also planning to stop in Portsmouth, Laconia, Manchester, Lebanon, Concord and Nashua Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is scheduled to make stops in Claremont, Littleton, Berlin and Conway Friday.
The events are free and open to the public. Those interested in attending are encouraged to visit www.barackobama.com/nh.
