SNHU women pegged for fifth in NE-10 basketball
Northeast-10 Conference women's basketball coaches named defending conference champ Bentley University as the preseason No. 1 this week, while Southern New Hampshire University was pegged to finish fifth - the Penmen's highest-ever ranking in the preseason poll.
SNHU is coming off an impressive season in which they went 19-10 overall and 14-8 in league play.
Franklin Pierce University was picked to finish seventh and St. Anselm College 11th.
