More jobs spin: Hold Obama accountable

Another bad jobs report came out on Friday, and it was met with more spin from supporters of President Obama. It represents progress, they say. It shows that we are moving forward, they say. It shows the need to stay the course, they say. Nonsense.

The economy is producing jobs more slowly than it was earlier this year. Don't take our word for it. The Washington Post reported on Friday, "the rate of job creation remains well below its level at the start of 2012, and even at the rate employers are now adding jobs, it will take years to bring unemployment down to more normal levels."

Years.

On turning around the economy, Obama said in 2009, "If I don't have this done in three years, then it's going to be a one-term proposition." He has had four years. He did not get it done. He said then, "I will be held accountable." He now blames everyone but himself and says four years was not enough time.

Four years would have been enough time had we elected a President who knew what he was doing. Instead, we elected a community organizer with no understanding of the economy. The only reason the unemployment rate is below 10 percent is because several million Americans have given up looking for work in the last four years and have dropped out of the labor force. We cannot afford four more years of bad ideas and bad excuses. It is time for a President who can bring this country back. It is time to hold Obama accountable for his failures.
