Voter turnout was high in Bedford and Goffstown, as cars snaked through the parking lots at local schools.

Rodney Stark, Town Moderator in Goffstown, said he predicted a high percentage of voter turnout by the end of the day. Stark said he’d heard there could be a 70% turnout.

Traffic advisories were issued by the Goffstown police, who said to expect delays in the area of the Wallace Road roundabout.

A second entrance for voters was created by mid-morning to accommodate increased traffic at Goffstown High School.

Bill Dermody, chairman of the Bedford Town Council, said by 8 a.m., approximately 1,000 voters had already been to the polls.

New traffic patterns were also established in the area of Bedford High School.
