$750K ankle-injury lawsuit against Portsmouth headed to federal jury
PORTSMOUTH — The city in May asked the federal court to dismiss the suit through an attorney for its liability insurance provider. Representing the city, attorney William Scott cited state law that grants liability immunity to landowners who make their land available to the public at no charge. Exceptions include intentionally dangerous situations.
