Bank of America hosts home mortgage review events
Bank of America will hold consumer events in North Conway and Manchester for homeowners who want to review their mortgages, according to a release from state Attorney General Michael Delaney.
The release said the Attorney General's Office is encouraging banking institutions to hold consumer events for homeowners to meet with banking officials to discuss their mortgage loan and available loan assistance options that may help them avoid foreclosure.
The Bank of America events will be Dec. 4 and 5 at the North Conway Grand Hotel and Dec. 11 and 12 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manchester.
Anyone interested must register at bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent or call 855-201-7426.
The Department of Justice established a mortgage hotline for people with questions about their mortgages, or about the recent multistate settlement reached between 49 attorneys general and the five largest national banks, at 866-522-4450.
