TD Bank names regional president
TD Bank named Dave Glidden regional president for Northern New England and Upstate New York.
He will lead the bank's retail, consumer, commercial lending and government banking operations throughout a network of nearly 185 stores.
Most recently, the region was under leadership of Scott Bacon, who has been with TD Bank for 15 years and is retiring in December.
Glidden has more than 25 years of banking experience, 10 of them with TD. Most recently, he served as market president for Boston Metro South and Rhode Island. A New England native, Glidden is board member and treasurer for the American Cancer Society New England Division and acts as a delegate and stakeholder for ACS National.
Centrix president receives CMC award
BEDFORD - Joseph Reilly, president and CEO of Centrix Bank, received the 2012 Charles F. Whittemore Award from Catholic Medical Center at its Eighth Gala Event on Oct. 19. The award was established in honor of Charlie Whittemore, past president and CEO and longtime board member of CMC. Reilly was presented with the award for his leadership of CMC as past chairman and former member of its board of directors. The two years he served as chairman, CMC built a 72,000-square-foot addition involving new surgical suites, medical office building and skywalk, Mom's Place, and more.
Merrimack Valley SCORE receives award
The Merrimack Valley Chapter of SCORE was recently honored with a Volunteer Champion Award from Volunteer NH, one of only 11 nonprofit organizations to receive such recognition.
The award was presented at Volunteer NH's Spirit of New Hampshire Awards celebration, held at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. The awards recognize volunteers and organizations for their commitment to service and New Hampshire's tradition of volunteerism.
Merrimack Valley SCORE President Richard Clough and first Vice President Dianne Connolly accepted the award on behalf of the chapter.

Parent named Palace Theater trustee
MANCHESTER - Jennifer Parent of the McLane Law Firm has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Palace Theatre, Manchester's nonprofit live performing arts theater. Parent is a director in the firm's litigation department and chair of McLane's Employment Law Practice Group.
