UNH police issue alert after campus assault
DURHAM — University of New Hampshire police have issued a campus alert after a student was apparently assaulted by two men trying to steal his backpack.
Police said the student was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground in a parking lot on the campus about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. The alleged attackers are both described as white and 6 feet tall with thin builds.
Anyone with information is asked to call campus police at 868-2324.
