Mass. doctor gives up NH license
CONCORD - A Massachusetts doctor who obtained a license to practice in New Hampshire, despite having been reprimanded in Massachusetts, has agreed to surrender his New Hampshire license, according to a settlement agreement with the state Board of Medicine.
Dr. Stephen V. Friedman was granted his New Hampshire license on Feb. 1. About two weeks earlier, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine issued its reprimand of Friedman, who was accused of failing to administer Fentanyl to a patient and failing to properly dispose of the syringe.
According to his settlement with New Hampshire, Friedman did not disclose on his license application that he was under investigation in Massachusetts.
