Man rescued from Nashua pond after crash
NASHUA - Fire crews rescued a man who drove a car into Round Pond on Thursday.
Deputy Chief Karl Gerhard said the man was found in the cold water about 5 p.m. Thursday. His car was found about 50 feet from shore and he was about 25 to 30 feet away from the car when he was pulled from the water, Gerhard said in a release.
The man, whose name was not available, was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening, the release said.
The release said a thermal imagining camera was used to find the man.
