Woman arrested for prostitution in Manchester
MANCHESTER - A city woman was arrested for prostitution after agreeing to perform a sex act for money on an undercover officer, police said.
Tabitha Smith, 24, of 429 Central St., was arrested early Monday evening after undercover officers observed her "acting suspiciously" in the area of Union and Laurel streets.
Police said an officer approached her, engaged her in conversation and she then agreed to perform a sex act in exchange for money.
